Artist Profile - Judy Cohn \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\nJudy is a Geelong Artist who has been painting since 2006. \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\nShe is an active member of the Geelong Art Society and since 2008 she has exhibited regularly at Art Shows in Geelong, Melbourne and Western Victoria. \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\nShe has won several awards including Best Australian Flora and Fauna at the Angair 2009 Art Show, Best in Show at Anglesea Art Show 2013, First in watercolour at Birregurra Art Show 2013 and Golden Plains Art Show 2014, People\'s Choice at Daylesford Art Show 2014 \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\nHer main interest is animal studies in watercolour, but she also paints landscapes and street scenes. She has recently started producing works on scratchboard, a board coated in white clay and Indian ink which produces striking black on white or white on black images. \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\nHaving been a biology teacher, she has a deep appreciation of the beauty of the natural world.
